OUR STORY & MISSION

Teneral Cellars was founded in Northern California in 2020, and we are a 100% women-owned & operated producer of sustainable, award-winning wines.

We strongly believe in harnessing the power of business for good and using wine as a conduit for change… open a bottle, open a conversation.

As a mission-based winery, we donate 10% of profits to organizations that empower women and fight for gender and racial justice.

Though we are veterans of the industry, we were the first to disrupt it by creating a business that intentionally reflects the wine industry’s largest consumer… women.

Our portfolio of highly acclaimed wines has won over 100 awards and are crafted from our estate vineyards in both Amador County, CA and El Dorado County, CA. We also source premium fruit from other renowned wine regions throughout California such as the Russian River Valley, Sonoma, and Napa.

And, our owners, Jill & Lisa, are involved in ALL aspects of the winemaking process! When they’re not in the Tasting Room & Wine Lounge, it’s not uncommon to see them rolling up their sleeves in the winery.
