We've Got a New Home
We have an exciting update! Beginning late last year, I identified a beautiful property in Northern California’s stunning Amador County that hit all the marks for what I had envisioned as the new home for Teneral Cellars, including a place for our community to gather around a purpose. In the following months, I partnered with a group of amazing humans to obtain Wilderotter Vineyard: complete with stunning vineyards, state-of-the-art winery, tasting room and five-star luxury Inn, along with an existing wine business with award-winning wines. We are proudly still women owned and led, and now that we have officially taken over operations at Wilderotter Vineyard, I wanted to take a moment to catch you up on all of the exciting enhancements coming to Teneral Cellars.
Starting now, Teneral Cellars wines can be experienced in person! We invite you to visit our tasting room and vineyards for tastings, special events, and five star accommodations at the Grand Reserve Inn, our luxury Inn. We also invite you to host your special occasions with us. From corporate retreats and holiday parties to unforgettable weddings, we have the space, the ambience and hospitality expertise to help you build the perfect event.
What is NOT changing: our values and commitment to positive change. We believe wine is a conduit for change and are working to elevate women in the wine industry and beyond by giving 10% of our profits to organizations working to empower women and fight for gender and racial justice. We will continue to encourage our community to share their values with the wines they drink and the wines they give. Our bottles start conversations and prompt important dialogue that supports progressive changes toward a more equitable future for all.
When you visit us you can also experience the award winning wines from Wilderotter. Our latest release includes The 2022 Estate Sauvignon Blanc, which has been touted as the “Margarita of the Foothills.” The last vintage won double-gold and best of class at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, considered the most prestigious in the United States and beyond. Also just released is the 2021 Russian River Chardonnay and beautiful Rhone 2020 GSM (Grenache, Syrah and Mourvédre) from our estate in Amador County.
We will continue to feature themed releases that showcase important issues and organizations that fight for gender and racial justice, alongside the award winning wines from Wilderotter. Club members are invited to join us at our new home, Teneral Cellars at Wilderotter Vineyard, September 23rd and 24th for our release party, including food pairings, live music and an opportunity to tour this gorgeous property! Contact us at the tasting room to join the Swarm Club and reserve your spot at the release party.
I hope to welcome you to our new vineyards very soon!
In gratitude,
Jill
