Jordan Osur Myers

Jordan Osur Myers is currently pursuing her master’s in nursing at Emory University in Atlanta. Having grown up in the Bay Area, with an Undergraduate degree in Gender and Women's Studies from UC Berkeley, she felt it was time to spread her wings and head to the south. Her entire life she has been told she is an old soul, which is why it is no surprise that she believes her purpose in this life is to heal. Jordan’s journey of healing started after graduating UC Berkeley when she began working at Planned Parenthood as a Reproductive Health Specialist. At Planned Parenthood she was able to counsel, affirm, and give strength to people in their most vulnerable moments. It is also at Planned Parenthood where she realized the atrocities BIPOC individuals face when seeking healthcare services. Realizing her greatest impact and chance of healing others was in healthcare, Jordan decided to get her master’s in nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. As an NP she hopes to gain trust from her patient's and close the gaps allow racism in healthcare to still exist today.
