This classic Meritage is firm and dark, with all the structure and power of Cabernet Sauvignon leading the way.  The wine is ripe and dark with blackberry and black currant flavors melding with a savory herb note of bay leaf and thyme.  Sweet vanilla and baking spice from gentle oak aging balance the power of the wine and bring finesse.  Pair this wine with roasted dark mushrooms and braised meats.
