The grapes or this wine are sourced from three different vineyards. One is right here from our estate Teneral Cellars at Wilderotter Vineyard. Both the second and third vineyards are located 3 miles down the road at our partner vineyard on Dickson Road. Bringing the grapes in from different vineyards and properties allows our winemaker to be creative with the flavor profiles and overall character of the wine. This wine is known as the "Margarita of the Foothills."
Tasting Notes: Rich notes of honeydew melon followed by the lingering aroma of citrus blossom, on the palate you re greeted by ripe summer melon, lime leaves, and a long lingering finish of lemon zest.
This wine has won double gold - best of class at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the most competitive wine competition in the United States.
Food pairing - The Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with a cantaloupe shrimp cocktail served with a side of fried plantains.
