Is Barbera A Nebbiolo?

Barbera is not a Nebbiolo. While both are Italian Barbera and Nebbiolo are their own grape variatels. Barbera has light tannins and naturally high acidity that make it dark, but usually fruit forward and noticeably softer and rounder than Nebbiolo. Nebbiolo, on the other hand, is packed with tannins presenting an intense expression that is both delicate and complex.
