Virtual Wine Tasting with your Personal Sommelier

If you are new to Teneral Cellars, you may not know me, so allow me to introduce myself. I am Vicki Tomiser and I love wine. While I was in college, I worked in restaurants. I had only a cursory interest in wine. I grew up in Kentucky and bourbon was the drink of choice. I drank wine and wine coolers and beer and cocktails. An invitation to a professional wine tasting changed my view of wine and set me on a path that I have followed for the past 3 decades.

I had an aha moment. I realized that I could smell and describe wine in a way that made me feel connected to it. I realized that it changed as I was drinking it. I realized that it changed when I ate food with it. I was intrigued. I started reading everything I could find about wine. I attended every tasting I could find. I graduated from college with a degree in Theater and realized that theater would have to wait.

I have had a long, interesting career in wine. I have worked for a large wine company in sales, I have worked for a broker who specializes in selling wine to airlines and cruise lines. I have bought wine for catering companies and private clubs and curated wine programs for Art museums and botanical gardens. I have traveled to most of the famous wine growing regions of the world. I am a Certified Sommelier and Wine Educator.  Most importantly, I have tasted, evaluated, discussed, written about and been tested on thousands of wines.

What does all this mean to you? As the VP of Wine and Customer Experience for Teneral Cellars, I want to use my expertise to help elevate the wine experience for our community. We are offering virtual tasting experiences with me.

This will be an experience curated especially for you and your group.

I promise a down to earth, fun time with our delicious wines.

• Groups of 15 or more- the cost to you is the cost of the wine from one of our 2 or 3-pack Teneral Cellars’ collections plus$15 flat rate chipping plus tax per person.
• Groups under 15~ $150.00 per hour for your personal sommelier experience plus the cost of the wine, shipping and tax as above.

Every 3-pack purchased means a 10.00 donation to a cause that empowers women.
